Bali 
'Travels to You' has recently returned from Bali, Indonesia.  Alongside the beautiful beaches, sacred temples, cascading waterfalls and turquoise seas, he was struck by the artwork and skills of the local craftspeople. 
 
His selection for you comprises four handkerciefs and a hairpin.   
 
The handkerchiefs are made from lyocell,cotton and modal - water-absorbent, biodedegradable and soft, sustainable fibre derived from wood pulp (often eucalyptus).  Although totaly functional as handkerchiefs, they should only be handwashed, ironed on very low heat or with a damp cloth on top, and they should be left to dry naturally in the shade.  They would look beautiful if framed and displayed.  The largest handkerchief is actually designed by Kanoko Takaya, originally from Japan but with a deep interest in Balinese culture. 
 
The ebony hairpin has a tassle with beads and is a classic example of simple yet exotic Bali fashion.
